A companion for your treatment in Turkey
You are flying in for surgery, dental work or a transplant, alone, in a language you do not speak, and the only person looking after you is being paid by the clinic. That is the gap we fill: someone on your side of the table.
What's included
-
Airport pickup and transfer to your accommodation
A named person actually holding your name at arrivals — not a driver the clinic sent, and not a WhatsApp number that stops answering.
-
Someone with you at consultations, translating both ways
We sit in the consultation and translate both directions, including the parts that are easier to leave untranslated.
-
Independent note of what was said, agreed and priced
A written note, made at the time, of what was said, what was agreed and what was priced — so a price that changes later has something to change from.
-
Pharmacy runs and post-operative check-ins at your hotel
Prescriptions collected, and a person who comes to your hotel room to check on you when the anaesthetic has worn off and you are alone.
-
Follow-up appointment accompaniment before you fly home
Accompaniment to the post-op check before you fly, so anything wrong is found while you are still in the country.
-
A phone number that answers at 2am in your own language
A number that answers at 2am, in your language, held by somebody who is thirty minutes away rather than three time zones.
Typical turnaround
Booked around your treatment dates
Fixed, all-in price

Turkey performs an extraordinary volume of hair transplants, dental work and cosmetic surgery, much of it very good. What patients rarely think about beforehand is who is in the room with them. The clinic sends a driver. The clinic provides the translator. The clinic's patient co-ordinator explains the consent form. Every friendly face in that building is on the clinic's payroll.
That is not an accusation — most of these clinics are competent and most co-ordinators are decent people. It is a structural observation. When the price changes on the day, when a second procedure is suggested, when you want to say no and everyone in the room is smiling at you, you have nobody there who is paid by you.
We are that person. We meet your flight, we sit in the consultation, we translate both directions, we write down what was said and what was priced, and we check on you afterwards. We take no commission from any clinic, we recommend no clinic, and we give no medical advice. We are simply the one person in the building who works for you.
Who this is for
Solo patients
You are flying in alone for a procedure and nobody will be there when you wake up.
Anyone quoted a price online
The package looked all-inclusive and you would like somebody impartial in the room when it stops being all-inclusive.
Families back home
Your father is having surgery in Istanbul and you cannot be there. We can.
How the job runs
-
1
Send your dates and clinic
Where you are being treated, when you land, and what you have been quoted. We do not comment on the clinical decision — that is between you and your doctor.
-
2
We schedule around your treatment
Airport pickup, consultation, procedure day, post-op checks, follow-up. You choose which of those you want a person for.
-
3
We are there
Translating, taking notes, and asking the question you would ask if you spoke Turkish and were not sedated.
-
4
We stay reachable
A number that answers in your language while you are recovering in a hotel room in a foreign city.

What we don't do
We give no medical advice and we are not clinical staff — we translate, accompany and record, we do not assess your treatment. We also take no commission from any clinic, hospital or agency, and we will not recommend one. That is the whole point: everyone else in the room is paid by someone other than you.
Questions about medical travel support
Will you recommend a clinic?
No — deliberately. The moment we recommended one, we would have an interest in you going there, and our presence in the room would be worth nothing. Choose your clinic; we will come with you to it.
Do you take commission from hospitals or agencies?
None, from anyone, ever. The medical travel industry runs largely on referral fees, which is exactly why an independent companion is worth paying for.
Can you give me medical advice or a second opinion?
No. We are not clinicians. We translate, accompany and record. If you want a second opinion, we will happily take you to a different doctor to get one — but the opinion must come from a doctor, not from us.
