A supplier can promise any capacity over email. We walk the floor and count what is really there: machines, people, and work in progress.

## What we check

- **Machines on the floor — type, age, condition, count** — The machines counted and photographed: what type, roughly what age, in what condition, and how many are actually running.
- **Staff on shift versus staff on the org chart** — The people on shift compared against the headcount in the sales presentation, which is a surprisingly reliable indicator.
- **Work in progress and current order load** — What is on the benches right now — because a factory with no work in progress will not be starting yours next week either.
- **Whether the work is done in-house or quietly subcontracted** — Whether your product would be made here or quietly sent to a workshop three towns away that nobody mentioned.
- **Certificates on the wall, checked against the register** — Certificates on the wall checked against the issuing register, since a framed ISO logo and a valid ISO certificate are different things.
- **Video walkthrough plus a written verdict** — A video walkthrough of the floor plus a written verdict, including "we would not proceed" when that is the honest answer.

## What we don't do

We are not a quality engineering house. We will not run PPAP or FAI, and we will not write you a metallurgical report — if you need that, you need a certified lab, and we will say so. What we do is get a verified person through the door within days and tell you honestly what is there.
